BMW E90 335d M57 3" Downpipe
Off-road competition use only.
The Kassel Performance 3-inch downpipe is built for the 2009–2011 BMW E90 335d with the M57 diesel engine. It replaces the restrictive factory downpipe with a free-flowing, direct-fit assembly engineered and fabricated at our York, Pennsylvania facility.
Construction
- Mandrel-bent 3-inch tubing made from North American 304 stainless steel
- CNC-machined 304 stainless-steel flanges and sensor bungs
- Hand TIG-welded for consistent fit and long service life
- Direct-fit design using the factory mounting locations
Build your downpipe
Use the product options to configure the downpipe for your installation:
- Genuine GESI diesel oxidation catalyst: integrated into the downpipe (+$300)
- Turbo gasket: new upper gasket (+$20)
- Turbo clamp: new upper clamp (+$147)
- 335d EGR kit: optional installation hardware (+$175)
- Matching midpipe: one-piece, mandrel-bent 3-inch 304 stainless steel (+$499; added as a separate cart item). The midpipe must be welded into the factory exhaust at the oval section.
Calibration options
Compatible engine calibration is required when changing the factory exhaust configuration. Choose mail-in DDE programming, remote coding, or Not Needed if the vehicle already has suitable software. Remote coding requires an INPA-compatible cable, a Windows computer, and a reliable internet connection.
Important emissions information
The optional GESI diesel oxidation catalyst is not a replacement for the factory diesel particulate filter (DPF), SCR/DEF system, or any other required emissions equipment. Vehicle legality and emissions compliance depend on the complete installation and the laws that apply where the vehicle is operated.
