Kassel Performance provides remote calibration support for supported Syvecs standalone ECU applications. This guide covers software installation, ECU connection, calibration handling, fault reporting and datalog retrieval.
Only load calibration or logging-configuration files supplied or approved for the specific vehicle.
Install the Syvecs software
Download and install the current Syvecs Software Suite from the official Syvecs website. The suite includes SCal for calibration management, SData for datalog retrieval and SCfg for logging configuration.

Connect to the ECU
- Connect the laptop to the Syvecs ECU with an Ethernet/RJ45 cable.
- Turn the ignition on.
- Open SCal.
- Select Device → Connect.
- Select the normal calibration access option when prompted.
- Confirm the green connection indicator.


Save the existing calibration first
Before programming an update, select File → Save and preserve an identifiable copy of the current calibration. Never overwrite the only known-running file.

Program an approved calibration
- Connect to the ECU.
- Select File → Load.
- Choose the Kassel-supplied calibration.
- Confirm programming.
- Do not interrupt ECU power or disconnect the cable.
- Wait for the successful-programming message.

Check and document errors
After connecting, open Device → Errors and capture a clear screenshot. Do not clear faults before documenting them unless Kassel requests it.
Configure SData and retrieve logs
In SData, configure a per-device working directory using the ECU serial number and an identifiable vehicle or customer name. Typical storage is under Users\Public\Documents\Syvecs.


- Power the ECU and connect the laptop.
- Select Device → Read Data.
- Enter the calibration revision and test description.
- Confirm the files have downloaded before deleting ECU records.
SData may create an .SLB logbook file and an .SD datalog. Send the .SD file requested by Kassel.
Retrieve or load an SConfig file
To retrieve the current logging configuration, open SCfg, select Device → Get Config, save the file and send it to Kassel.

To load an approved configuration, open the supplied file, connect to the correct ECU and select Device → Set. Never substitute a configuration from another vehicle.

What to send Kassel
- Customer and vehicle name
- Syvecs model and serial number
- Current calibration
- Requested .SD datalog
- Calibration revision and test description
- Screenshot of current errors
- Current SConfig file when requested
- Hardware, fuel or sensor changes
Safety and logging policy
Perform only the test Kassel requests. Do not conduct a full-throttle pull until the vehicle passes its mechanical checks and preliminary startup, idle and light-load data have been reviewed.
Remote calibration cannot compensate for incorrect wiring, unstable voltage, inadequate fuel pressure, mechanical faults or incorrectly configured sensors.
