BMW E46 M3 CSL SMG Transmission Software

CSL-style software for the BMW E46 M3 SMG II transmission control unit. The calibration provides the CSL shift strategy, rev-matching behavior, launch-control behavior, and related SMG functions supported by the vehicle.

Choose either to send your original SMG control unit to Kassel Performance or purchase a supplied control unit with the software installed. Current pricing is shown by the selected option on this page.

For the most complete CSL-style behavior, corresponding DME coding may also be recommended. DME coding is a separate service unless it is specifically included in the selected option.

Before ordering, confirm that the vehicle retains compatible SMG II hardware and note any existing transmission, clutch, hydraulic, or warning-light concerns. Software cannot correct mechanical or hydraulic faults.
