BMW S54 MSS54/MSS54HP Full CSL Conversion
Hardware and firmware conversion for BMW S54 MSS54 and MSS54HP DMEs using the full factory CSL software base. The conversion supports compatible CSL-style intake systems, MAP-based operation, and the OEM motorized CSL intake flap when the required vehicle hardware is installed.
MSS54HP units receive the CSL hardware/firmware conversion. Standard MSS54 units require the additional HP hardware conversion selected on this page. The full CSL binary is written directly to the DME.
The conversion resets the immobilizer data. EWS delete is mandatory when the installer or end user does not have the equipment and capability required to synchronize EWS after installation. Customers with confirmed EWS synchronization capability should discuss the appropriate immobilizer workflow with Kassel Performance before ordering.
An optional 93-octane performance calibration is available. On a compatible US-market setup, typical gains can average approximately 20 wheel horsepower and 20 lb-ft of wheel torque over the factory CSL calibration. Actual results vary with intake design, exhaust, engine condition, fuel, and testing method.
Include the chassis, engine, DME type, intake system, MAP sensor, flap hardware, injectors, exhaust configuration, transmission, fuel, and intended use with the order.
